Fair Thee Well Heeled, The Series and Season 3 Finale:

Bethenny and her crew go to dinner for the holidays. Pitchers of margaritas are being served. Jackie, one of the new assistants, was cheered for being able to man up for being able to handle her job duties. Then Nick, the food blogger, shows up and finds out for the first time that Julie is leaving. He is shocked and tells her he will miss her. Then they cheer Dawa, one of the nannies, for being able to handle all the stress. She tells everyone that people ask her if Bethenny is crazy and she tells everyone that B. is a good mother, which makes her cry a little. Good move on Dawa’s part. Jason shows up and everyone is happy to see him, especially Bethenny. B. cheers the whole crowd for being a part of “the family”.

Next scene: Bethenny at a fashion shoot. She has a monthly column with Glamour magazine and they do these shoots to go with her column. Bethenny does it all like a pro. And it was Julie’s last time to do to help her do a shoot, which was sentimental. As she puts it, “I always want to stop the lambs from screaming, now I just want to stop the tears from streaming…that sounds like a country song”. Yet another joke from B. that is perfectly sarcastic and funny. Bethenny and Julie are very sentimental. After all, as B. puts it, “its the ending of an era”.

Clip from Bravo:

And then we see B. with Dr. Amador. She tells him about how crazy the time is in her life. She talks about doing a renovation and how that is difficult for any relationship. He affirms for her that it is positive that she is handling it positively by saying “relationships are challenging” vs. “I am a failure at relationships”. They also talk about Julie leaving which is a huge change.

Next scene: Julie’s last day at work. However, Jason is not happy with what B. is wearing because her nipples are hanging out (even though only women are in the room). As he puts it to her, “how would you like it if my penis was hanging out”. He made his point and actually everyone laughs. It was no big deal but a minor moment of tension.

Flash to Bethenny making her big announcement. She tells everyone that she got the talk show and it is going to be filmed in LA. She wants to talk to Jason. They have a big talk about them all leaving together and how this is going to work. Clearly it is a big change and exciting opportunity.

That night, Julie walks into a goodbye party made for, cake and all. Julie and Bethenny are crying and hugging. It is a very tearful departure. Julie tells the camera that B. was very generous with giving her a computer and a great check to help her with her transition. We flash back to all their memories and then go back to the current moment. Julie makes her departure and the camera flashes to B. sitting down on her chair looking very pensive and definitely sad.

Clip from Bravo:

Next morning, Jason and B. are hanging out on their couch just reflecting on all that has happened. She tells him that she feels she hasn’t changed, but her life has. They discuss with concern about how it is going to affect Bryn when she grows up. They finish cleaning out all the old stuff from their apartment. As B. says, “I don’t want everything to move on the same day”. And she tells the camera, “I have had CEOs tell me how much they can’t believe how much I have done with such a small staff and budget”. J. and B. talk about their memories in that apartment, but have fun wrapping it all up for their next move.

And then…they go to their new apartment…which is huge and a real home. They are amazed by all the renovations and the enormity of it all. Both of them, of course, have lived in much more humble digs. Everything is beautiful and the pull out bar in the living room is very cool for entertaining. However, IMHO, I could live without the wallpaper they chose for their bedroom but the closet is just like anyone who is truly wealthy has, a NY studio apartment. Both feel this is something that they will adjust to but are very happy. Well, who wouldn’t be?
Clip from Bravo:

Last scene, there is a very happy family moment with the 3 of them enjoying their new palace. And then B. gets a call from Hilary, her agent. She is told that they need to be in LA in a month. Perfect way to end the series. They had calm for a minute and then on to the next adventure. And it gets even better, Bryn knocks over the flowers on the ottoman and wets the books and furniture. Ah, life with a child and B. and J. clean up the mess. Fade out. Chaos and kids and moving…absolutely perfect way to end.

I will say it again, I love Bethenny and wish her all the success in the world. She deserves it and I can’t wait to see her new talk show. I hope that her, Jason and Bryn live happily ever after and I am happy she has ended her show. Time to get out of the world of Reality TV so they can have peace and privacy. As I write this, there have been tabloid rumors of a divorce….I hope the truth comes out and they are having another baby, although I don’t know anything for sure. I’m not connected to her, I just blog about Bethenny, but my desire is for them to have made it through a very rocky road and ultimately find success in their personal lives. TEAMBETHENNY.

Aspen-ational:

Bethenny is with Bryn and is meeting her interior designer downtown. B. also happens to be wearing a very cool, chic black hat. She finds vendors downtown that are selling paintings and she buys a few, which probably shocks her interior designer, Brooke, who, according to B. is “most likely used to buying art in high-end stores”. However, at the second vendor, her Amex is declined because the purchase price is too small. Ok, run that by me again. As Bethenny says, “only in NY”.

Next scene is Bethenny giving her husband a new gift, a Macbook Pro, which is a very exciting gift. She does know it might overwhelm him because it is a work gift, and he is overcome with emotions. It shows her giving him something to help him run the business but also it’s not something he bought on his own. Jason is very cool about it all, handles it in stride, and admits all of his emotions to her. B. then tells her about her latest session with her therapist, Dr. Amador, and prefaces it with, “this is going to be tough, but what else would you like to do outside of this?”. Jason admits that is a “really good question…” And no answer is really given. Jason says to her/the camera he is still struggling with giving up what he has done for a living.

B. goes back to Dr. Amador and says to him she wants a partial refund. She tells him that she thought it would be easier. B. talks about how it was difficult for him. Dr. Amador tells her it is “really simple” and feels like they don’t listen to each other. He calls her on her s*** by giving advice to him and she reacted, didn’t respond to what he was saying, i.e. they weren’t really listening to each other and he felt cornered. B. ends up agreeing that maybe she was too aggressive.

Next scene: Julie and Bethenny out to their last lunch together. B. asks Julie if she has changed and Julie and she says “no, you always had that bitchy side”. So, money has not changed Bethenny and she took that commentary very well and that shows true friendship. They both realize that it is the “ending of an era”. B. gets emotional knowing Julie is not going to be there.

Clip from Bravo:

Bethenny is getting ready for her Aspen trip. The assistants try to help her and give lukewarm opinions. At least one comes up with a joke, “Halloween” about one of her outfits. B. appreciates her forthrightness and comments she needs a raise.

Bethenny and the nanny show up with the baby. Bethenny reflects on when she and Jason helped start her business in Chinatown and how they would personally have the “Skinnygirl” shirts printed. Now she walks into the hotel room and all of her accoutrements are everywhere. She decides they all need a cocktail even though it is only 11am.

By nighttime, she is in her proper winter marketing clothes for the launch. Bethenny is in a mood, remembering how she remembers being up there broke and reminisces about the “good ‘ol days” although she would never go back there.

B. and her assistant Jackie make it to the cocktail launch party. The rep from Jim Beam is there, a DJ is mixing it up, and she is there to network. She says to the camera “how much Jason would love being there but she felt that he needed some space from the business”. Bethenny does her networking with the Jim Beam and Jackie is there. I thought she quit? Anyway, B. is not happy when she talks to other women at the party and her review of her boss is “thanks for the trip to Cabo and CO”. Her reaction is, “really…this is all you think this is?”. She was not impressed because obviously it is much more than the freebies.

Next day: B. goes snowboarding. She is with Matt, the Skinnygirl nutritionist, Jackie, and they are going to have a good time snowboarding. So far she is looking pretty good out there boarding down the slopes.

Clip from Bravo:

They make it to a Skinnygirl tent at the bottom of the mountain. The crew asks if Jason is coming and she “says he is on his way”. Bethenny teases the boys that are with them making sure they ski/snowboard correctly (her and Jackie) and B. being who she is, asks them directly if “they are just doing this job to get laid and/or to make money”. The response, “both”. Next thing you know, Jason and Bryn show up. Jason teases her about what she was saying to them but does ask “if he should have stayed in NY”. They all move onto the local bar for food/drinks. Jason was definitely noticing how many men were surrounding her and B. was approached by a whole bunch of guys. B. says something horrible at the end to all the men, “you were highlight of the day except my husband and baby showing up”. NO EXCUSES for that one…I can get over a lot of what she says and tend to find her funny, but that was low and mean. I’m quite sure if tables were turned and she saw a bunch of young women surrounding him, she would have many sarcastic commentaries. I guess Jason knows not to buy into any of it and no big fights erupt, but he is shaking his head at her as she flirts with all the men and bartends. I’ve been on TeamBethenny a long time, but was none too happy with her outrageous-ness in this episode.

um.. question: How does the srouce for the Star article get that Tree No money mo problems is doing all the damage all by her little ole self? I seriously doubt that he puts the lions-share of the blame on his daughter. My guess is that srouce is team gorga. Sad that Pappa Gorga spent all them years cobbling shoes to help give his kids a fair shake at the American Dream only to see it blow up so disastrously. The ways I see it, if karma is a mofo then he prolly should have paid off the last Benjamin that he owed Kathy’s daddy. whoa is him.p.s. funny funny Ms Sh . Mr Barnes? Mr Nobel?

Yes she did a bad job. The kid is unacceptable. She shluod have rescheduled your job. That is why you never leave a new housekeeper alone. The first time sets the tone. This is why I hire professional cleaning crew companies like Merry Maids. They give your house a visit and discuss with you what you want done and how. You sign a contract. There is a supervisor who checks after the maids do their work and if you find anything else later that day, you call them and they send back the crew at no charge. They bring all their own cleaning supplies and equipment, which saves some money there. I get 2 people for 3 hours for $130 every other week but the first visit was a deep clean for $250. It was totally worth every penny. If I want anything extra, I just call the office for things like cleaning the refridgerator or patio furniture or a last minute emergency. They carry insurance so if they ruin or break something, you have no problems. If a worker gets hurt, they carry insurance. They background check their workers and insure against theft. You can refuse to have a worker back and get another in exchange until you find which team pleases you and keep them after that. I’ve had this team for 6 years. Love them.

My cray cray is back! I understand why she’s ending her show on Bravo. Bethenny gives too much of her private self to her fans. She is such an inspiration, love her.
