Hey – it’s the worst kept secret in reality TV!

According to the rumor mill, this will be Adrienne Maloof‘s last season onReal Housewives of Beverly HillsDo you think it had anything to do with her allegedly taking legal action against Bravo and Evolution Media?

TMZ reports that Adrienne has had several talks with the producers about her desire to leave the show. Season 4 is slated to begin filming in April, and although none of the cast members have signed their official contracts yet, it’s a given that Lisa Vanderpump and Brandi Glanville will return.

Adrienne is said to believe the show has “ruined” her family and her personal life. Additionally Adrienne doesn’t need the money so all the drama the show has caused (including her divorce in her mind) and the fighting isn’t worth it!

The funny part is although Adrienne is telling producers she wants to quit, Bravo reportedly had no intention of asking her back for another season! Sources say Adrienne essentially wanted to beat them to the punch before they pink slipped her. And cue Adrienne’s official announcement about how she quit…

Taylor Armstrong is also reportedly being asked to leave. As for who’s joining the cast, Penny Lancaster and Dayna Devon are the two names beingthrown around presently, but Bravo is allegedly in talks with multiple otherwomen who they feel epitomizes the Beverly Hills lifestyle.

From Reality Tea written by Mary:

Well… that was shocking wasn’t it? This Friday evening “20/20″ bestowed uponBrooks Ayers the honor of giving him his own segment on the popular news show. Even Slave Smiley hasn’t been that lucky!

Yep, in front of the whole nation, on a nationally syndicated immensely popular news show, Brooks was outed as a deadbeat dad by his ex-girlfriendNicolette Catanzarite. How’d you like them apples? Or oranges, if you will. I say Karma is a bitch, and I love her for it!

I’m sure Bravo is beside themselves with glee over the news that Real Houewives of Orange County‘s stellar reputation has been besmirched by the allegations – and I am most positive Vicki Gunvalson‘s obsessive love for con-man Brooks will suddenly wilt. In fact I anticipate that very soon she’ll be issuing a statement about how they’ve grown apart, but she wishes him nothing but love.

And whaddya wanna bet Vicki‘s friendship with Tamra Barney will be rekindled, with a statement about how Tamra was good friend, just looking out for her.

CLICK CONTINUE READING FOR THE REST!

In this instance, I have to say, Tamra was right to worry about Brooks. Although, I’m sure her “I told you so!” act is in full gloating swing.

With that said, let’s get to the nitty-gritty of Nicolette‘s allegations that he has never paid child support for their son, whom Brooks dubs his “extra child” and even stiffed her on the delivery bill. Winner!

“He has not supported his child,” Nicolette revealed. “He bailed on the hospital bill, the pediatrician bill, and left me with all of it.” Nicolette is the mother of Brooks‘ three-year-old son, a child Brooks has no relationship with. Nicolette, a 41-year-old hair salon owner met Brooks when he was separated from his wife, the mother of his other three children.

Brooks‘ ex-wife is the woman who had him arrested for not paying child support. He has a previous arrest for a DUI. “I met Brooks in 2007 in Atlanta on a golf trip and he just kind of was a Southern charmer without a doubt,” Nicolette recollects. “He just always said the right things at the right time.” A story, Vicki is no doubt very familiar with.

Nicolette even says Mr. Hallmark plied her with greeting cards day and night. Hallmark needs to start banning him – he should be spending his money on his kids instead. These cards are like his crack.

Much like he promised Vicki the world, Nicolette heard a familiar refrain. ”He did mention that he was going through a divorce and that he was legally separated and that he had three children,” she added. “It wasn’t appropriate that he would ask me to marry him while he was still married so he gave me a promise ring.”

Nicolette shares that Brooks seemed so upfront about his past and his life, that she didn’t think he was hiding anything. “I just believed everything that he said. I bought it hook, line and sinker,” she admits.

He also told her had a vasectomy – another story she believed whole-heartedly. Until she got pregnant! ”I was like, this is gonna be the best kid in the world,” Nicoletterecalls, believing she would be with Brooks forever. “I just couldn’t wait to have him and really always thought that this was such a blessing.”

Sadly, shortly after their son’s birth, the affirmation cards dried up – and so didBrooks‘ interest! ”Within two or three weeks I started seeing kind of a different behaviorfrom him,” Nicolette remembers. “He was obsessive, angry, moody and controlling with me. It was very strange.” Their relationship quickly dissipated.

Nicolette says she started noticing his many lies, claiming he even lied about having nose cancer! LOL! (Sorry – I couldn’t resist. What a fraud!) And that he started to bail on his financial obligations.

“Our electric bill was getting shut off, my phone was getting shut off and I didn’t know he hadn’t been paying the rent on the house,” Nicolette says. “He would always make up excuses and say the judge has held the escrow account and they’ve locked all their funds until the divorce was final.”

And then Brooks just disappeared – leaving only a PO Box number – and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Until her friends spotted him on the arm of Vicki flaunting their relationship on RHOC.

Nicolette has been trying to obtain child support from Brooks for years and in 2010 sued him over the matter. They later agreed Brooks would provide $700 per month and become current on his arrears of more than $2,500. Nicolette reveals she has seen little of that money. And she was shocked to see Vicki him splashing out for new veneers and a mink coat on TV.

After Brooks gave a recent interview to “Ask Dan and Mike,” claiming: “I am happy to tell you that we got everything current. I never walked away from my kids. I speak to my kids every day.” He then referred to their son as his “extra child,” Nicolette was compelled to speak out.

“He’s a manipulator, he’s a liar, he’s a con, he’ll do or say anything to anybody, anytime, anywhere, to get what he wants,” Nicolette seethed, adding that he know owes thousands of dollars to her and has not made any effort to make good on those obligations.

Well, he sounds like a real catch. Good thing Vicki snapped him up before anyone else got him. Actually – it is good. She can afford him, she’s no longer of babymaking age, and she’s keeping him off the streets before other women can be bamboozled. Here’s to seeing Brooks rack up another mugshot. And the excuses that are soon to follow.

As for Brooks he has yet to comment on the story – and refused any of 20/20′s questions – but he did add fuel to Nicolette‘s case by tweeting: “I paid for my teeth and the fur with my own money. Have a great night and thanks for watching us!”  Also keeping mum on the issue: Vicki!

Last week,RadarOnline ran a story (citing Bravo sources) claiming thatCaroline Manzo was bargaining with Bravo to kick Teresa Giudiceoff The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and now Caroline is adamantly denying those claims.

According to Radar, Caroline has become so jealous of Teresa’s attention and fed up with her drama that she’s trying to get all of the other h’wives to turn against Teresa so they can issue an ultimatum to Bravo; her or us.

All of the rumors forced Caroline to turn to Twitter to set the record straight. On May 28, she tweeted, “I’ll say it again – have not once nor ever will demand 2 Bravo that any cast-members be removed from show-not my style-”

There’s no denying that Caroline and Teresa aren’t exactly on the best terms these days, but we’re skeptical that Caroline would ever order Teresa off the show.

This season of Real Housewives of Orange County has been the equivalent of friendships in a blender, as the ladies have swapped buddies, traded aliases, and gotten us all mixed up with the flavors! First, Tamra Barney and Gretchen Rossi became BFFLs, bonding over blowjob helpers and bad dye jobs. And now, Alexis Bellino and Vicki Gunvulson have apparently discovered they have much more in common than their television jobs—the Bravo one, obviously, not the newscastering one.

While it’s no stretch to see Tamretchen joined at the hip and cackling, Vicki and Alexis (Vilexis?) are quite the odd couple. But apparently, Paula Abdul was right and opposites attract.

Taking to her Bravo Blog, Alexis explains how she and Vicki went from enemies, to frienemies, to friends. “The friendship between Vicki and I wasn’t immediate. It has taken three years for Vicki and I to GROW into our friendship. Yes, Vicki said some mean things about me in the past, and yes I wasn’t always the kindest to her. However, we have both been very open about the fact that we wanted to try to make amends over three years, NOT OVERNIGHT!”

And, of course, their former best friends defecting to enemy lines had absolutely nothing to do with Vilexis’ bond. “Vicki and I were trying to make amends last year, before Tamra ever thought about scheming a friendship with Gretchen, so don’t let Tamra or Gretchen fool you that Vicki and I are only friends because those two became friends.”

“The friendship between Vicki and I is not out of convenience, nor is it contrived. Vicki and I have both said we have nothing to dislike the other person for, and we really enjoy being around each other,” Alexis adds. “Not only that, but Vicki apologized to me for everything in the past and said that if Tamra hadn’t been in her ear she would have gotten to know me and befriended me sooner.”

“It’s ironic to me that Tamra suddenly has an issue with Vicki becoming friends with me, but doesn’t seem to feel it’s strange what she is doing with Gretchen, and same goes for Gretchen. HELLO ladies, you two were talking smack on each other and are friends again!”

Moving on, Vicki is also defending her friendship status with Lex. “I really enjoyed spending time with the ladies and actually without Gretchen and Tamra there it seemed to be less stressful for some reason. I don’t know why, but it did,” Vicki muses in her Bravo blog.

“I don’t like the conflict that is brewing between Gretchen and Alexis, nor do I like Tamra not really liking that I am friends with Alexis. I like Alexis, and now that I have gotten to know her on a more personal level, she’s harmless, sweet, and very easy to be around. At the end of the day, that is much easier than someone who wants to fight, judge you, or is confrontational. It’s been very easy between us which I need more of in my life lately.”

But Vicki touches on something much more important in her blog—the other storyline that is attracting major attention this season: Her relationship with boyfriend Brooks Ayers! It seems no one can really understand her relationship and even her close friends are questioning Brooks’ sincerity and his motives! Vicki wants everyone to know, that despite telling Brooks her daddy needs to approve, she’s a big girl and everything is good!

“Some people, including Tamra, have voiced her opinion about ‘keeping her eye on Brooks to supposedly protect me.’ My question to her is. . .PROTECT ME FROM WHAT?!,” Vicki seethes!

Vicki adds, “Although I find it nice that she cares about me, I’ve told her she has nothing to worry about. I have known Brooks in the insurance/investment business for over five years, which quite frankly is longer than she has known Eddie [Judge].” Vicki has hinted that Tamra’s skepticism over her relationship has caused major tension in their relationship; including a big blow-out in the season finale, but the two friends have worked past things and are still very close.

“He makes me very happy and at the end of the day that is all what we should wish for one another,” Vicki gushes. “One thing that you do not get to do is get into his soul, his mind, and his heart, as the show captures us at times in a very skewed way.”

And she clarifies that while Brooks can check her email any ol’ time he wants—her bank account is off limits. And no amount of Hallmark card giving is going to change that! “Brooks does not have access to my money, my bank accounts, or any of my financial accounts. He has his own accounts, and I have mine — and neither one of us have access to each other’s personal finances,” Vicki explains. “I only said that to merely point out that I have nothing to hide from him and that we are completely transparent when it comes to one another.”

Vicki also requests that we be kind to Brooks and treat him with respect. Which c’mon—we’re not going to do that—if you’re on reality television it’s always open-season as far as snark goes!

Apparently, Brooks doesn’t need his ladylove to defend him (although I’m sure she’d like a card affirming that he finds it very sweet that she does), because he is speaking out to defend himself!

Speaking to Real Housewives Blog, Brooks describes how he met Vicki and what he thinks of appearing on the show. He says they met while she was filming Season 2 of RHOC and things stayed platonic for years. And he is adamant that he had no idea what RHOC was—that I believe, given it was only in its second season and not the hugely successful show it is today.

Brooks is very happy in his relationship and says he is very in love with Vicki—but no plans to marry—yet! “We both are totally committed to each other but have a long way to go before we even consider marriage,” he declares. “We both feel privileged to have our best friends (each other) as our ‘significant’ other,” he adds. “She is the most thoughtful person that I know.”

“As far as the show is concerned, I have learned that with editing the producers can capture a moment in time, take it out of context, and make it seem as though there is constant drama,” Brooks explains. “Off camera, we really enjoy the company of most cast members. I know the truth about where I have been in my life…the mistakes, the what if moments, and the fact that I have embraced and learned from my past is what I want to challenge others in never giving up the fight to continue growing as a person, partner, parent, or friend.”

Brooks claims the show “provides insight to peoples real worlds, but has a tendency to skew on the drama side. One has to realize that for every episode that airs, we film about 35-40 hours per 7-10 minutes of airtime. Logically, the audience doesn’t see the ‘build up to the drama’ or the ‘make up to the drama’….but only sees the ‘drama’!”

Brooks also admits that after getting off on the wrong foot, he and Tamra are now in a good place and she is supportive of his relationship with Vicki. “I believe and trust that Tamra, as any good friend would do, was simply being a good friend to Vicki by inquiring about me,” Brooks says. “We have spent more time with Tamra and Eddie on couple dates that anyone in the cast, so I know where she was/is coming from. I believe that Tamra would certainly concur that we are good for each other.”

Finally, Brooks discusses the infamous “dead beat dad” allegations that have surrounded him since word got out that he was Vicki’s boyfriend. Brooks openly discloses that he fell behind in support, he is now current on his payments.

“Being labeled a deadbeat is a tough pill to swallow, especially because I talk to, text, email, and visit my kids daily!;” Brooks shares. “I did fall on hard times in 2008… just like everyone did. What I would like folks to know is that I have always supported my kids emotionally, physically, and financially. For a period of 21 months, I could only pay my ex wife 60% of what I owed her monthly. In MS (Brooks lives in Mississippi) , if one falls back on child support greater than $3,000 in total, then they can be found in contempt and go to jail.”

“I was on the hook for $8,000 per month. So that equates to only 1 ½ weeks and I was in contempt,” he adds. “It needs to be noted, that I did try for months to get in front of the judge to get a modification…but that never went my way in terms of timing. I am now caught up and paying monthly, fyi.”

Why Vicki Is The Longest Standing Housewife from US Weekly:

Vicki Gunvalson is the last housewife standing!

The recently divorced insurance executive and mom, 50, first starred on The Real Housewives of Orange County — the debut of the Housewives franchise — when it premiered on Bravo in 2007.
Five years, seven seasons and five additional Housewives spinoffs later, Gunvalson is the only original housewife still starring on the show.
What’s the secret to her longevity while other housewives from the OC, New York, Atlanta, New Jersey and Miami editions of the franchise have left or been fired and replaced? (Real Housewives of D.C. was cancelled after one season.)

“I signed up for this!” Gunvalson told Us Weekly during a recent visit to our NYC offices. “This is my reality — come on in through all the issues and struggles and trials — and good times!”
Lately, Gunvalson’s not-so-good times — her daughter Brianna’s very serious cancer battle, her painful 2010 split from husband Donn after 18 years, her tenuous friendship with Tamra Barney — have dominated her story line on the currently-running season.

One bright spot? Her boyfriend, Brooks Ayers! “My love tank is full,” she gushes to Us.

HollywoodNews.com: ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Teresa Giudice seems pretty into fame, but apparently she would give up that lifestyle to have her family and friends back.

Giudice claims that she would happily go back to her life before reality TV if it meant having a good relationship with her family and friends, states RadarOnline.com. “I would give up anything to get back to where we started. I would give up fame, I would give up my life,” Giudice commented.

Giudice is currently on the outs with her brother and her reality TV castmates.

Do you think she’d really give up fame?

Video clip from Us Weekly with Renee from Mob Wives:

November 21, 2011, was definitely a low point for Mob Wives star Renee Graziano. First, her ex-husband Hector “Junior” Pagan (with whom she’d recently reconciled) turned himself over to authorities for armed robbery and brandishing a weapon in a 2009 incident; hours later, her dad, reputed crime boss Anthony “TG” Graziano, was arrested for extortion and other charges.

As it turned out, Pagan, 46, had actually made deal with the Feds to avoid jail time: Wearing a wire while speaking with his former father-in-law, he helped the DEA nab “TG,” who’s currently behind bars.

From RealityTea:

Mob Wives’ Renee Graziano Speaks Out About Junior’s Betrayal; Says She Was Suicidal, But Is Finally Ready To Move On
Posted: 29 Mar 2012 10:38 AM PDT

Renee Graziano has had a tough few months. Despite the success of Mob Wives, her family drama has been a nightmare for the reality star. Renee’s ex-husband Junior Pagan (who she decided to reconcile with) was arrested, and shortly after that, so was her father. It soon emerged that Junior had “snitched” to the FBI about Anthony Graziano, after framing him. Renee is speaking out about her family being in shambles and how she is handling the betrayal.

“I felt like someone pulled my heart out of my body,” Renee says of her reaction when she learned of Junior’s November arrest. And the feelings exploded once she learned that “her knight in shining armor” was wearing a wire and had snitched to the DEA about her father. Junior is now reportedly in the witness protection program, while Renee’s father remains in custody for extortion.

Renee believed Junior wanted to reconcile with her to rebuild their family, but now she knows he was using her to get to her father. “I thought Junior came back because he loved me,” she shares with Us Weekly (via their print edition). “Little did I know, it was a big lie.”

Despite her shock over Junior’s arrest, Renee says she knew something was amiss. “Junior and I had been fighting – he was getting calls from an ex-girlfriend – and we hardly spoke over the weekend. Monday he was gone,” she says of how the drama began.

“When I saw an envelope downstairs, my first thought was, Junior left me,” Renee shares. “But his letter said he had turned himself in and hoped I would find somebody better. I was shocked.”

“That night I was on the phone with my cousin, who was at my dad’s house. I heard the doorbell there and somebody said ‘It’s the police!’ They took my dad,” she recalls. “Within hours, my father and my ex-husband were ripped out of my life. I had to protect my son.”

Initially, Renee didn’t believe the rumors that Junior was responsible for her father’s arrest, but then Junior called and personally confirmed that he was the culprit. “He admitted he was the snitch. The f-word must have come out of my mouth a thousand times. It was inconceivable.”

“Honestly Junior ratting out my dad is the last thing in the world I would have expected. He was the son my father never had.”

Renee reveals that her heartbreak soon turned to depression. “I was suicidal,” she confesses. Renee suffered from a nervous breakdown in late January. “I couldn’t breathe, my body was shutting down and my anxiety was insane. I felt like I was going to die. I think I spent six days in the hospital”

However, there was a positive to all the drama – her co-stars came together to support her. “The girls from the show were there for me.” she reveals. “They stepped up and were ready to protect. I love them very much.”

Unfortunately, Renee’s harrowing experience has made it impossible for her to trust again, although she is ready to move on. “I want to believe there are good guys out there,” she says. “But if Junior walked into the room right now, I would make sure I got a clear shotgun right in his face. I set his letter on fire not to long ago, along with his clothes and his pictures.”

Despite her rage, Renee is ready to forgive and move forward.”I actually have found forgiveness,” Renee confirmed, while fighting back tears. “If I don’t forgive, you’ll have hate . . . Forgive, but never forget.”

Taking to Twitter, Renee also let fans know she is recovering and feeling stronger. “I know GOD has big plans 4 me. I made it thru that surgery ordeal. Then this horrible sad family issue … Strong.” Adding, “I swear I get better by the min because of all the love every1 is showering me with.. I think u guys r gonna help me stop CRYING!!! Xoxox”
Viewers watched the drama first-hand on last week’s episode and will see the continuation on next Sunday’s episode.
UPDATE – Camille Grammer Will Not Return To The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills; Did Bravo Fire Her?

This is from Realitytea.com:

According to the reputable PEOPLE magazine, Camille Grammer will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

PEOPLE reports that Camille, 43, has decided to quit the Bravo hit series. “She’s been in discussions and at the end decided she wasn’t willing to expose her personal life anymore,” reveals a source. “She’s at peace with her decision.”

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as Camille went from being the most hated housewife ever during the first season of the show, only to come back more mellow and more likable during the second season. Many, however, felt she wasn’t being herself and was playing it safe in hopes of redeeming her image.

“She’s in a great place in her life right now,” the source continues. “She’s grown a lot in this past year and she’s made some wonderful friendships [on the show]. It has steered her life in a direction she never imagined. She’s ready for new challenges.”

Indeed, Camille is currently in a new relationship with lawyer beau Dimitri Charalambopoulos following her nasty divorce from actor Kelsey Grammer. Camille also recently reached an agreement in the custody battle with Kelsey.

We do have to wonder if this was all Camille’s decision or if this is her way of saving face in case Bravo doesn’t invite her for a third season. Reason? Camille was expressing her desire to return for season 3 just weeks ago. “I had a good year so I would want to go back for a third season, but they haven’t asked me yet, so I wonder what’s going on with that,” said Camille.

Plus a report came out in January saying Bravo was planning to fire Camille.

Bravo has yet to announce the returning housewives for RHOBH season three, though, it was reported last month that the network would like to invite all the BH housewives back — minus Camille — for the new season, including the very well liked Taylor Armstrong!

Bethenny is calling it quits after this season. Totally understandable and glad to hear she might be going back to a normal life because after all she is a multi-million dollar business owner, has a great husband and new kid…She certainly has achieved so much and well, it might just be for the best she focuses on her own family/business.

UPDATE – Teresa Giudice Says Celebrity Apprentice Cast Was Cattier Than RHONJ; Hasn’t Spoken To Caroline Manzo!

Written By Reality Tea 19 Feb 2012

Tonight marks the premiere of Celebrity Apprentice season 5! And following the fireworks Nene Leakes brought to the show last year, it only made sense to add another fiery housewife to the cast.

Which brings us to Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice. In an interview with the NY Daily News, Teresa says the show is “all business,” while also making it clear there was some major cattiness going on amongst the women! You don’t say Tre.

“There was cattiness going on, working with girls,” admits Teresa, adding that it was even worse than the NJ Housewives. “Put a bunch of girls together, cattiness does happen.”

Teresa, who chose The NephCure Foundation, a charity working to cure kidney diseases, over her fake BFF Dina Manzo’s Lady Bug charity however adds that she got along well with the men’s team.

“I loved Arsenio (Hall),” gushes Tre. “He was awesome. I have to say, all the men were amazing — Clay Aiken, Arsenio, Adam Corolla, Paul Teutal — they were all amazing. I love, love, love them!”

Teresa who got into a huge blowout with fellow Italian Victoria Gotti however makes it clear she has no issues with “standing up” for herself. “I was not intimidated by anyone and I don’t get starstruck,” she says while admitting the board room was a stressful place. “If anyone was intimidating to me, it would be the Trump.”

And in a separate interview with UsWeekly, Teresa also discussed her RHONJ costars! When it comes to Caroline Manzo and Melissa Gorga, Teresa revealed she hasn’t spoken with Caroline since the very dramatic reunion “I have not spoken with Caroline. Melissa and I are a work in progress,” she says.

Teresa also promises the upcoming 4th season — set to premiere this Spring on Bravo — “will be a real eye-opener.” Whatever that means.

Moving on to The Donald a.k.a Donald Trump, who is now stating that the Real Housewives are dying to be on his show! When asked if other Bravo Housewives have approached him about doing the show, The Donald told reporters, “Almost all of them!”

He then went on to sing the praises of Teresa. “Teresa is on there and is great, as you know. She was a real piece of work and is terrific on the show. She’s very tough, very educated and she’s got her own ideas. She was a great character, no question about it.”

The new season of Celebrity Apprentice premieres tonight on NBC at 9/8c. A preview clip is below!

UPDATE Melissa Gorga just tweeted: “Good luck to @Teresa_Giudice. Hope she raises a lot of $ for @Nephcure on #CelebrityApprentice. I Met Matthew & he is truly an amazing boy.”

News about Briana eloping last December from Zimbio.com:

Did Vicki Know Her Daughter Was Eloping?

By hills2city on December 5, 2011
#WeddingDrama

Celebrity Chatta

Last week, news broke that Vicki Gunvalson’s daughterBriana Wolfsmith had run off to Vegas and eloped with her boyfriend of a year, Ryan Culberson.

But did Vicki–the type A control freak–know about the spontaneous nuptials beforehand? Possibly not!

On Thursday, November 3rd, Vicki tweeted the following regarding her daughter’s engagement:

When the story broke regarding Briana’s wedding, the marriage license was also posted online. The date on the marriage license is listed as Sunday, October 23 (which by the way, was significantly waaay before Vicki’s tweet)!
So the question is, did Briana get hitched behind her controlling mom’s back? Or is Vicki’s lackluster reaction to her baby’s engagement just a marketing ploy for the next season ofThe Real Housewives of Orange Countywhich is currently filming? It definitely seems off that Vicki isn’t more thrilled about Briana’s happy news.  She’s been trying to play matchmaker for a couple of seasons now. Something is fishy here.
Either way, congratulations to happy couple! We can’t wait to see it all undoubtedly unfold on the next season of RHOOC. That cast is long overdue for a good story line.
From Realitytea.com, Vicki defends Brooks:

Days after attempting to downplay her relationship with boyfriend Brooks Ayers while also denying she knew he was a deadbeat, Vicki Gunvalson is now singing a different tune.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star, who wrote a handwritten letter to a judge in 2010 to get Brooks released from jail after his arrest for not paying child support (he owed over $40,000 to two different women), is vehemently defending Brooks. “He is not a deadbeat dad,” says Vicki.

“He is a wonderful man and a wonderful father,” a very emotional Vicki told the Rumor Fix. “He has integrity and loves his children more than life. He just fell on hard times, like we all did. He works in a commission-based business as do I, and his child support payment amounts were based on when he was making a lot more money. He couldn’t pay his child support and in the state of Mississippi the laws make it very difficult.”

Gretchen Vicki continued on with her defense of Brooks despite the court documents that make it clear he was a deadbeat dad. “He is not a deadbeat dad, and he’s paid $110,000 since 2008 to his ex,” adds Vicki. “I knew about the DUI and the other arrests, because he has never lied to me about anything. Everyone has a past. No one is perfect.”

Yes, in addition to Brooks’ arrests last year for child support delinquency, he was also arrested back in 2009 for a DUI. Reality Tea obtained the above mugshot for Brooks’ DUI arrest on June, 16, 2009 in Florida. The arrest record listed him as self-employed and his occupation as “Insurance.”

Vicki also goes on to state that she cares for Brooks very deeply and that she is worried her new relationship might not survive in light of all the negative press. “For me it was a new life and a new page,” says Vicki. “He treats me the best I’ve ever been treated, but because of all the harassment, we probably won’t make it. He doesn’t deserve it and I can’t subject anyone to this.”

Interesting how Vicki sounds a lot like Gretchen when she’s defending her boyfriendSlade Smiley, much to the criticism of Vicki who has stated in the past that court documents don’t lie.

Vicki also took to her facebook page on Thursday and put up the following quote, “When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.” Funny how it’s okay when she’s bashing Slade for not paying his child support, but when others do it to her beau, it’s called gasps – “judging.”

And unfortunately for Vicki, the bad news doesn’t end with the above. An ex-girlfriend of Brooks has now come out today stating that Vicki and Brooks have been involved with each other for years.

Debbie Keane tells Radar Online that she started dating Brooks in 2005 and had an encounter with a jealous Vicki back in 2007, while she was still married to Donn Gunvalson. “I was tagging along on a business trip with Brooks in 2007 in West Palm Beach, Florida and he kept talking about how his friend who was famous was coming to the conference,” said Debbie.

Upon Vicki’s arrival, she immediately sought Brooks out.“She sent him a text saying ‘finally here, I need a drink,’” said Debbie. Two nights later, Debbie adds that she and Brooks were in a bar when Vicki walked in, so she decided to confront Vicki aboutflirting with Brooks. “She told me to mind my own business and then went and told Brooks he needed to ‘keep your girl in check.’”

Vicki, while admitting she was at the conference with Debbie and Brooks in 2007, denies Debbie’s version of events. Debbie “was really nice and complimented me on the show and on my outfit,” said Vicki also insisting she was at the conference with Donn.

As many of our readers have pointed out, Brooks appears to be the same guy that was shown this season on the OC Housewives flirting with Vicki during her trip to Cabo. That trip was billed as a girls trip to Mexico with only Tamra and Vicki. So we ask, if it was Brooks in Cabo, how did he end up on the same trip?

MOVING ONTO MARLO:

In her short time on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Marlo Hampton has made quite the impression on her cast mates and the show’s fans. According to the socialite, her time on the show ends soon after they return from the epic Africa trip. But, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a lot more to say.

While the source of her wealth is in constant debate on the show, there’s much to look up to Marlo for. She was a foster child who we all know had some tough times with the law – including a rap sheet with at least eight charges. But now, she has made herself a comfortable life, become a well-known figure in Atlanta, and founded Glam It Up, her organization that mentors girls growing up in the foster care system.

“The main part is that I invested my money,” Hampton tells The Hollywood Reporter about her money. “I wasn’t crazy, I didn’t have to spend on everything. My home is paid for, my vehicles are paid for… I came from nothing to where I never want to go back to being a foster child, being homeless, or being in the projects, and just struggling, and not knowing where my next meal was going to come from. I don’t want to go back to that.”

At any rate, she caused quite a stir on the Bravo show with the housewives and spoke to THR about what went down including her on-air fights, her money, and her controversial use of a gay slur during her argument with Sheree Whitfield.

VIDEO: ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’: No Fighting in Front of the Children

I’m impressed by the fact that you and Nene Leakes dated the same guy, but you guys get along and got over it. How did you do that?

Marlo Hampton: I really didn’t care from when I first heard about it, them dating or whatever. I didn’t know him then. Why the hell do I care who he dated before me or talked to before me? I didn’t know Nene, I didn’t know him. So, the only thing I did want to know though, like “Hey, if I am going to be working with or around her, I want to know what happened, is it over with?” And once it was all confirmed it was like “OK, move over, get over it.” And when she cleared the air, he cleared the air, it was done. But the girls wanted it to be something major.

How would you characterize the experience of the Africa trip?

Hampton: Oh my God, that was just a life experience. I just loved that experience, it changed my life. It was wonderful, the bad part definitely being Sheree’s argument, I hate that that happened. But then the orphanage and the children, I loved that part, it touched me like no other. It reminded me of my dad, which you don’t know, well you should know. I grew up in a foster home also, so just being in there just kind of reminded me of my childhood and it was just really sad. I wish I could’ve grabbed them and brought them back here to the U.S. with me.

What was the real cause of your fight with Sheree?

Hampton:I would not have cared about her inviting me to the party, because I know that Sheree doesn’t really care for me too much, whatever. But, after we sat on the boat and we’re all like “Hey, we’re going to bond, at least when we see each other we’re going to speak, we’re going to be cordial,” I’m like, OK, we’re starting off on a new foot, we’re connecting. So as soon as we get back to the room, you call Cynthia over and invite Cynthia and not me, really? Sheree, seriously? Where we just left 30 minutes ago saying “Oh, we’re going to try to get along,” so that really just shocked me. And then we started the argument, I guess the part that blew me was when she was like, “Oh don’t go there, you’re dating an 80-year-old white man.” I just lost it

The source of your money was an ongoing drama among the women. Why do you think Kandi Burruss is so interested in where you got your money?Hampton: I don’t even know, to tell you the truth, it took me by surprise. Like, say if I meet someone, I’m assuming I’m going to say, “What do you do for a living?,” not “Where do you get your money from?” So, it took me by surprise. Like, I don’t get it, I don’t get it. That one puzzled me, I want to ask her too, why was she so concerned about that?

You still don’t know why?

Hampton:Oh I just got it. It’s jealousy and envy, that’s what it was. I mean, it’s got to be jealousy and envy, something, Lord — women with low self-esteem only. The gay men love me, men love me, and strong-minded women love me, who have high self-esteem. Only the low self-esteem women have a problem with me, and it’s like, “Why? What is your problem?” Just because I love fashion, my story is different from yours, my occupation is different from yours, what is the problem?

So, where did you get you your money?

Hampton: I mean, from work, and I did own and found the Red Carpet Boutique at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta for three years, which I just closed when I started taping with Bravo. And people always ask about my clothing, they love my advice, my style, and it made more sense to go global, so I did the Simply Marlo, Marlo’s Closet online, and I invested my money. I mean, I did have a boutique for three years, and of course, I have been spoiled by my boyfriends. The main part is that I invested my money.

You mentioned gay men tend to be cool with you. How did you explain your use of the gay slur during the fight with Sheree?

Hampton: I feel absolutely awful. When I said the “f-word,” this wasn’t on camera, but I was crying, I was so pissed off and frustrated. I called home to Daniel, my assistant who’s gay. I just told him about the whole thing about Sheree, I mean, I just felt awful, I mean, I was upset like that whole night. Daniel’s gay, my sister’s gay, you know, my whole circle is. It’s like, wow, but the only thing about it, when I talked to Lawrence about it, he told me a “faggot” was a gay messy male. And I did know that guy was being messy, but he’s like “Marlo, you cannot say that, though, you’re not gay. It’s like a man calling you the B-word.”

So, I mean, when it really, really hit me also is when I saw Twitter and the people going off at me. Some people were like, “How can you dare do this? What I went through…” It just touched me, like it really messed me up, seriously. I’m like, “Wow, keep your big mouth closed and think before you speak Marlo.” But it really did hurt me, and I did apologize, my friends love me and they know I was just talking, and I’m just trying to build that relationship back with the gay community, because, I mean that was awful, I really feel bad about that.

And earlier in the season, did you mean to make a jab at Kim Zolciak by referring to your “Big Poppa”?

Hampton:No, I wasn’t trying to give a jab to her, because Kim, when I originally met Kim, she was so nice and sweet and talking to me, but I wasn’t trying to pull a jab. It came off like one though, but I really wasn’t. I said I had a Big Poppa. But no, I wasn’t trying to give a jab at her at all. I feel like, it wasn’t even about you Kim. And she has a past herself, and her comments about me have been inappropriate, but it is what it is. But it wasn’t targeted towards her. But her comments about me are inappropriate, that’s what’s crazy.

Tamra gets engaged to Eddie Judge:

Tamra Barney is set to become a real housewife – again.

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star is engaged to her boyfriend of over two years, Eddie Judge, reports Life & Style.

“They’re keeping the news under wraps until they have to film the reunion show in a few weeks,” a source close to the couple told the magazine. “They are so happy and excited!”

Tying the knot a second time has always been on the outspoken reality star’s mind.

“We’ve talked about marriage and we want to get married,” she told Radar Online last year. “It’s an insane amount of love; I have never used the term ‘soul mate’ before, but we are!

“Eddie is one of the best things that’s ever happened in my life; he’s understanding, he’s caring and he just really has a big heart.”

Barney, 43, previously said the two would have been married by now, however they decided to take things slow for the sake of her four children from previous relationships.

The Bravo star began dating Judge, 38, shortly after her husband of 11 years, Simon Barney, filed for divorce in Jan. 2010.

Hmmm…guess what she wanted was a real commitment, not just moving into together after all.

Many people have complimented this article, which is wonderful. The reason why I have used it on my site is she gives a really good perspective as to why these ladies are on these shows, which I find to be informative and helpful for those of us who enjoy the “Real Housewives”.

I, the creator of the site, write about my own copy about different shows and welcome commentaries on what my fellow fans of Reality TV think.

Below is an article is from msnbc.com written by Leslie Bruce, a writer for Hollywood Reporter, dated 1/9/2012.

Would anyone like a glass of wine?” asks Ramona Singer, the petite, blonde and manic star of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York.”

It’s lunchtime, and the Pinot Grigio-guzzling 54-year-old — known for her erratic onscreen behavior and unfiltered commentary — is doubling (not at anyone’s request, mind you) as an on-set bartender during an Oct. 17 photo shoot for this publication. Dressed in a tight-fitting, blue satin cocktail dress, she flits around the Hollywood studio, swishing in and out of dressing rooms, offering anyone within shouting distance a taste of “Ramona,” the label she launched in 2010.

“It’s half the price-point of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio and tastes better,” she says of the six-plus bottles her assistant has delivered, before adding, “Blind-tested!”

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes (a new player to the wine industry herself) stifles a laugh before turning her attention to more important matters — like choosing the right six-inch Christian Louboutin heels from a collection an assistant is pulling out of a Louis Vuitton roller bag.

“I made it very classic, so it outlives the show,” Singer continues, pouring a glass for a Bravo publicist who reluctantly accepts before offering a sample to Caroline Manzo (New Jersey) and Vicki Gunvalson (Orange County). Both decline, barely looking up from their phones.

Kyle Richards (Beverly Hills) breaks from describing her new book (“Kyle Richards: Life Is Not a Reality Show”) to stare wide-eyed at Singer, who fluffs her shoulder-length coif and struts through a sea of 25-plus groomers, stylists and assistants, leaving a trail of half-empty plastic wine glasses in her wake.

The scene is a cocktail of uncomfortable and funny, with a sprinkling of car crash on top.But seriously, what were you expecting? Classy? Regal? Singer and her oft-bleached and  Botoxed counterparts haven’t helped Bravo create its most successful franchise — valued by one insider at upward of a half-billion dollars — by emulating Princess Grace. Frequently foul-mouthed, often catfighting and always self-promoting, the women from the original series (“The Real Housewives of Orange County”) and its six subsequent iterations (“New York,” “Atlanta,” “New Jersey,” “D.C.,” “Miami” and “Beverly Hills”) dominate water-cooler discussions, both virtual and real, by showcasing at times the worst of female behavior. Especially the kind of behavior among a certain class that rhymes with “bitch.”

Yes, these women are rich (or at least lose more money than most people make in a lifetime). Yet the franchise has become a perfect distraction for viewers in the age of Occupy Anything. It’s the kind of train-wreck television that Americans, with all their woes, probably shouldn’t be watching; but on any given night, 2 million of them — mostly women ages 18 to 49 — are glued to one version or another of the multipronged soap opera, ready to blast, blame or bewail the kind of behavior that’s left even Oprah aghast. “Literally, my mouth was open,” she said last year of watching “Housewives.” “I thought, ‘This is on television?’

If the “Housewives” shock and repel critics and cultural guardians alike, the public loves them. The Nov. 6 season debut of “Atlanta” drew 2.9 million viewers, the franchise’s highest-rated season premiere. (By contrast, the fourth-season premiere of AMC’s critical darling “Breaking Bad” attracted 1.9 million.) Bravo has earned anywhere from $35.6 million to $162 million in the past two years alone from ad sales for “Housewives,” according to Larry Fried, director of SQAD, a media cost data provider.

“Who would have thought that a fairly modest series would be here six years [later] as our longest-running franchise?” says Lauren Zalaznick, chairman of Bravo’s parent, NBC-Universal Entertainment & Digital Networks & Integrated Media. “It’s beyond incredible. It’s absurd.”

With “Housewives” international formats already airing in Greece and Israel, and a Vancouver spinoff to bow in March, NBCUniversal says casting is under way for a “Housewives” offshoot in France (a make-or-break market because of its broader reach and its potential for greater ad revenue), with Australia’s Gold Coast, Asia (Indonesia, Singapore and Hong Kong) and the U.K. soon to follow — meaning that “Housewives” would be television’s first docu-soap to franchise overseas. Bravo’s half-billion-dollar empire could soon be worth multiples of that.

“People want to watch rich girls behaving badly,” explains Linda Ong, president of brand strategy adviser Truth Consulting. “The franchise started as a real-life ‘Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous’ but became this cultural analysis after the economic breakdown. Every town became a sociological experiment, a very real-time reflection of what was happening to the 1 percent.”

But drama, not anthropology, keeps the franchise alive. Offscreen, it’s had to deal with the shooting of Ashley Jewell, the former fiance of “Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” Kandi Burruss, who was killed outside a strip club in October 2009; “D.C.” stars Michaele and Tareq Salahi crashing a White House dinner a month later; the crazed trip to rehab in December by “Beverly Hills’ ” Kim Richards — and, above all, the suicide of occasional “Beverly Hills” castmember Russell Armstrong, whom the series depicted as a cold businessman in a seemingly loveless marriage.

Bravo and the “Housewives” were savaged in the wake of Armstrong’s death, with calls abounding for the show’s second season to be canceled. But ratings for its Sept. 5 debut were up 42 percent from the first-season premiere, which aired less than one month after his suicide. (Armstrong’s death, so far, has been addressed only in that debut episode.)

Bad taste? Perhaps. But isn’t that in keeping with a brand whose stars disproportionately live in McMansions and catfight as often as they shop?

Despite — or because of — these controversies, “Housewives” continues to flourish in the competitive A.D.D. world of reality TV, where even powerhouse “Jersey Shore” is beginning to show signs of wear and tear (ratings dropped 13 percent to 6.6 million for the fourth-season finale).

Part of “Housewives’ ” success lies in its ruthless willingness to replace its stars. Reported contract threats have been met with firings, and prominent stars have made surprising exits — such as Jill Zarin, whose contract was not renewed at the end of “New York’s” fifth season.

Still, Bravo offers each of the “Housewives” an unparalleled opportunity to develop her own brand. Combined, the “Housewives” have published more than a dozen books; received product deals from makeup and jewelry to sex toys and alcohol; average well over 100,000 Twitter followers (“Atlanta’s” Leakes has nearly 600,000); and receive an approximate six-figure salary each season (the “New York” cast is drawing a $250,000 payday for season five) — not movie-star money, but steady income for people arguably of limited talent.

I am not too fond of all of them but Jill, Luann, Kelly and that horrid Cindy are the worst. Cindy catleinry has a chip on her shoulder and I’m surprised she is a successful businesswoman when she has horrible manners. Kelly is no voice of reason she is only fed, clearly she looks more robust. Alex can’t even defend herself that’s why these Queen B’s are the way they are with her. She needs to grow a pair and put them in their place. Stop being prim and proper and let them have it.

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of vuraois subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.

      Hi Arzuma,

Glad you like the site. For me, too, Housewives and Bethenny are two of my faves. If I could and had the time, I would be writing about a lot more shows. Was Pregnant in Heels good? If so, when I have time, I’ll check it out. Sometimes I do watch shows and not write about them…unfortunately can’t keep up with all of them!
